"MY DAUGHTER SUFFERS WITH AWFUL ANXIETY, PANIC ATTACKS & LOW SELF-ESTEEM & CONFIDENCE. SINCE STARTING KICKBOXING, WE'VE WATCHED HER COME OUT OF HER SHELL. WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR BEING A SAFE SPACE FOR HER TO GROW."
Matt with all 3 of his nephews who inspired him to teach kickboxing & helped to turn a dream into reality!
Matt Collins is the owner of Samurai Kickboxing which was born in 2010 due to his 4 year old nephew’s desire to learn kickboxing with his friends & the classes grew from there. Matt's nephew progressed to become a Black Belt & the 2 younger brothers joined the classes too!
In the UK, our in-school & public classes are in the following locations:
Berkshire - Windsor & Maidenhead
Buckinghamshire - Chiltern & Wycombe Districts
Herts - Rickmansworth, Stanmore & Watford
Dorset - Dorchester & Weymouth
Kickboxing classes began in Jersey in 2017 when Matt & his wife moved there. There are now over 350 students attending our in-school & public classes a week.
Samurai Kickboxing began as a family affair & remains so as Matt's sister Paula is the Marketing Director.

& life skills:
Positive body language
Protection of personal space

How to protect yourself in social situations
As children progress through our syllabus, they can take a Grading to receive their 1st or next belt. Gradings are a regular feature of kickboxing but are completely optional.
Only once students are older or more experienced kickboxers do we start to include light pad work & sparring.
We incorporate anti-bullying techniques into our Kickboxing classes & also run sessions for schools, particularly for children transitioning from Year 6 in Primary School to Year 7 in Secondary School.
We have holiday camps every school holiday for children age 4-12. They learn kickboxing techniques through fun games & may even take their 1st Grading. It's no wonder they come back again & again!
Every year, we have an Annual Tournament in the UK & Jersey for all students across the organisation, to give them a taste of competitive martial arts in a fun & safe environment.
We can also take the pressure off you & entertain your child & their friends with a Kickboxing birthday party. We can even theme it if you like!
