 WHAT IS A GRADING?

Gradings are tests we have every half-term & in our holiday camps to earn belts. Parents will be notified by email when their child is ready to grade.

The belt system is at the heart of Kickboxing & provides a focus on self-confidence, perseverance, focus & respectEarning a belt brings children a sense of satisfaction & self-fulfilment, building their confidence & self-esteem along the way.

Gradings are not compulsory & students can still progress through the same kickboxing syllabus if they choose not to Grade.

TAPES.

Students collect coloured tapes which are added to their belt & once all 3 have been collected, they are ready to grade:
Red - Exercises mastered for belt level
Blue - Stretches mastered for belt level
White - Continued good behaviour (respect, hard work etc)
