 WHAT IS A GRADING?

Gradings are tests we have every term & in our holiday camps to earn belts.

The belt system is at the heart of Kickboxing & provides a focus on self-confidence, perseverance, focus & respectEarning a belt brings children a sense of satisfaction & self-fulfilment, building their confidence & self-esteem along the way.

Gradings are not compulsory & students can still progress through the same kickboxing syllabus if they choose not to Grade.

Gradings are taken at the belt in which the student currently resides:

When your child moves up an age group, they will be given their corresponding belt in their new class.

ENDS.

Students collect coloured tapes which are added to their belt & once all 3 have been collected, they are ready to Grade:

Blue - Stretches mastered

White - Continued good behaviour (respect, hard work & discipline)

IN-CLASS GRADINGS.
